About the PTA

The Washington School PTA serves many functions around the school. We are a direct link between the teachers and the parents so that we can all work together for the common good of all the children. We sponsor many programs such as classroom grants for teachers, field trips, concerts and assemblies.  PTA also sponsors many activities such as the Ice Cream Social, Back to School Picnic, Variety Show, and Field Day.

Our fundraising efforts are vital in order to provide the types of programs and activities that our children need. Our two major fundraisers of the year are the Mixed Bag Sale in the Fall and WamJam, our family festival, in the Spring.

We encourage all Washington families to support the PTA, by becoming a member, attending the monthly meetings, and volunteering your time. Washington School PTA would not be what it is today without the generous help of all our school volunteers.

PTA membership is only $10 per person or $20 per family, per year. It's a great way to support our school, keep up to date on all that's happening, and let your voice be heard. Remember, only paid members can vote at monthly meetings.  You can pay for your membership online at the PTA Webstore or click the PDF below to print the Membership form and return the completed form to the school office with your payment.

For questions, please contact Sarah Simson or Erin Efner, our PTA Co-Presidents.

PTA meetings are held monthly. Please check the Roar or the school calendar for dates and times.  We would love to see you at the next meeting!
